Ca BRN Website License check?

I took my nclex last thursday, Oct 3, finished the exam at 2 pm and went on the Ca BRN website, apparently it went down on oct 3 for an update and the license verification just re-opened today Oct 8, I got the good pop-up / PVT, but i'm still not listed under the registry. Anybody know how long it usually takes to see your name on it? Thanks.

FINALLY! My license was posted today. I took the exam in San Diego on 10/3. I PASSED!!!!!!!! That was a long 19 days!

I have heard that if you fail you find out quicker then if you pass. Does anyone know if this is true?

Thats an unreliable statement, many things can factor into how soon you get your results. Right now the quickest way to "check" is the pvt but it can give false negatives. The only sure way is to wait it out, I have friends who waited 6 weeks because the BRN "lost their transcripts" but passed.

I cannot say for sure since I have never talked to someone who has failed, but it would make sense. If there is no license, there is nothing for Breeze to update or post. The BRN knows whether or not we passed and sends it out. If it wasn't for PVT I would have lost my head already, it helps me stay confident. If I had gone to cc page and still not heard back by now I would be a mess

Hi everyone I totally feel what ur goining thru took my nclex 10/09/13 stopped at 200 questions did the PVT 2hrs later and been doining it everyday since then but te good pop up appears every time. Glory be to His name. But unfortunately this breeze system is really disappointing cos I can't view my licence online good luck to all of u who haven't taken he nclex. Believe in God and keep up that faith no matter how many times u have to take that nclex. Prayers day and night plus fasting a week before the test helped helped!!!

Well if it helps spoke to CA BON on tue 10/15th about their website being an issue with our license verification they assured me in 3 weeks since the day u took ur exam permanent license should be in ur mail box. I totally feel u cos it's frustrating "wait"..

Congrats!!!! So HAPP fo u it's my day 14th since I took mine 10/9 still nothing it's 3a here in ca can't sleep no more..

Does anyone else call and get transferred to an Evaluator each time? I've left numerous messages for my evaluator.

Hey, so now I'm really nervous. I'm a October 9 tester. Somebody in the new grad rn Ca group on Facebook took her test on the 18th and so I searched her fb name and sure enough it's on breeze...I'm losing so much sleep over this. I don't even have a question, sorry for ranting

for those whose names r posted I guess its the luck of the draw and how quickly the brn processes it..... the born told me yesterday 2-4 weeks... I wanted to b sure all my paper work was there and she said all looks good just relax amf wait for the results! I'm assuming if we failed our names wouldn't be on the website and pending .... the PV popup is pretty much 99.9% indicater if u pass or fail ..I took nclex in July had 265 questions walked out knowing I failed did PV trick it took me cc page got results from brn within a week and I failed .... I took it again on 10/9 felt good got the good pop up and I'm pending on breeze website.all we can do is wait

I spoke with the BRN this morning to make sure all of my paperwork and everything was in order. Well to my surprise they were able to inform me that I did indeed pass and am now a Registered Nurse!!!

The system is still a mess but was told I should be receiving a letter within a week that also tells me I passed and that if I don't get my license within 2 weeks to call back so that they can try to expedite it.

I urge others to call and see if they will tell you your results. I feel a million times better than I did when I woke up that's for sure :D

I took the exam october 4th... I got the good pop up and still continue to get it. Have I heard anything from the BON? NOPE!!!! I am registered on the ca.breeze and my license says open and pending.... seriously..... what the heck??? So freaked out now... I feel like I should know by now..... and I am scared that I failed.
