Ca BRN Website License check?

Sorry admins if this is the wrong forum section;

I took my nclex last thursday, Oct 3, finished the exam at 2 pm and went on the Ca BRN website, apparently it went down on oct 3 for an update and the license verification just re-opened today Oct 8, I got the good pop-up / PVT, but i'm still not listed under the registry. Anybody know how long it usually takes to see your name on it? Thanks.

I'm in a similar situation - took the exam on Saturday, 75 questions, good pop up/PVT. Waiting on the website. I've seen in other posts it can show as quickly as 2 days but with this update who knows? I'll let you know when i'm listed - please do the same for me.

I took the nclex on a Tuesday at 1pm and my license number was on the website at 5:30 am on Thursday. So, not even 48 hours later. All of my class mates said it took 2-3 days to show up. Good luck!

I have a handful of classmates who tested Thursday as well and no one's license has posted yet. This new breeze system seems to be backlogged. Hope it picks up soon, I just tested this morning, 75 qs & good pop up. I'll still be checking every morning either way!

i also tested recently. tuesday to be exact and am a little worried that thanks to this government shut down might have to wait a little longer than i anticipated. i got the good PVT pop-up so hopefully that's a good indicator. my friend took hers on the 2nd but nothing on the BRN for her yet either. i also heard a rumor about a new licensure website called brEZe? anyone heard anything about it?

That's what I meant by their system going down, they're unaffected by the government shutdown, the brn is simply upgrading their software for license verification.

I called the ca BRN today, they said to give it at least until Friday add the system is updated midnight each night, and to be cautious because they're still smoothing the data transfer between Pearson and the brn. So far I'm just going by the pvt.

Thanks for the update from the BRN. I'm checking the site each day, still nothing - hopefully tomorrow. I wonder how long it takes to get the license?

Yes thanks for the update. I really don't like being in limbo, but I do feel pretty good about the good pop up on pvt. Here's to hoping all of our licenses post very soon! :specs:

Well I just called the BON and was told that license look up for new licenses is not active at this time due to their system upgrade. The license will come in the mail in two to three weeks. That's a bummer!

I suggest that you register on the ebreeze, that's what I did. It will basically show your license under your profile after you register.

@ric63, how does it work? Do you see your license number on the profile page when you register? Do they send you an email?
