Ca BRN Website License check?

Sorry admins if this is the wrong forum section;

I took my nclex last thursday, Oct 3, finished the exam at 2 pm and went on the Ca BRN website, apparently it went down on oct 3 for an update and the license verification just re-opened today Oct 8, I got the good pop-up / PVT, but i'm still not listed under the registry. Anybody know how long it usually takes to see your name on it? Thanks.

CBON is such a piece. I think there needs to be a way for us to complain.

Did u just ask if u passed and she told you? Cuz my lady like wasn't giving any info

I also did not ask. I called to make sure file was complete, gave my ssn, and was offered my results if I would like to know. Of course I said yes. Only certain people are willing to give out the results because of the wait

It is called New Grad RN California. They have good info / resources under the Files Section. You can apply to new grad program probably if the requirements say must have your license by a certain date and it is later than when you get your license. Use your connections when job hunting!

STOP THE PRESS!! - Guys, while I was on hold waiting to speak with someone at the BRN (as per the recommendations on this site - had to call 8 times to get through) just for the heck of it I rechecked the Breeze website and MY LICENSE IS NOW POSTED ON THE SITE!!! I checked it this morning at 6am central time (4am pacific) and my license was not listed this morning.

I tested on October 5th, computer shut down after 75 questions and I got the good PVT pop-up. Seems like things are slowly working their way thru the new system.

Congratulations, RN!!!!!! The exact same thing just happened to my nursing school bff right as she hung up from getting nowhere with the brn.

She tested October 07th. Things are getting going now! Slowly but surely :)
