Hi! I applied for the fall 2011 Nursing Program at Burlington County College and was just wondering if anyone else on here is waiting to hear if they got in. I've finished all of my pre-req's with honors and live in county but I know it's a matter of who gets their applications in first so I'm still really nervous ! Just looking to see if anyone else on here is in the same boat being I know I can't be the only one! Hoping to get a letter soon! :)
I registered this morning for section 100 too! We'll have to meet up before the June class so we know some friendly faces! crhoward was thinking about section 100 too so maybe there will be a few of us on here in the same section, that would be great! I can't wait! :) What sections did everyone else pick?? Anyone else in section 100 on here?
Congrats to you all. I'm just starting my "life change" journey. I am changing my career and I want to go into to nursing....I have a masters, I live in South Jersey...and I'm overwhelmed by which program to do. BCC or go to a university for my BSN....I am however starting my prerequisites next month at BCC. What are your suggestions?
I am doing fine with the problems in the book and syllabus but am still afraid of the exam having to know what to do without my notes in front of me. I'm sure I'll do fine, just worried I will panic and forget what formula to use or use it upside down or something! lol!! The drip calculations and pediatrics from today are truly my only concern but we did just learn them today, I did the homework but not the extra practice problems in the book yet, once I do those I might feel better about those. How about you? You feel comfortable with what we did today?
I know, I'm really excited to learn it for the same reasons. It truly makes it real that we got accepted and will be starting to do these things ourselves, I can't wait!! We have a full week until the exam so I'm sure I'll be fine in memorizing it all by then, I did fine on the homework today so I just need to practice it in order to feel more comfortable doing it without the formula in front of me. She did say the homework is harder than the exam, which is good because we'll definitely be prepared!
I felt really confident when I left. I was done in like 35 minutes. I can't wait to see what I got. Oh btw checked the bookstore website they have the fall books listed. There's a ton of books for 119. Not all of them are required but they might still be good to get. I'm thinking of heading out there one day soon.
Thanks for the heads up about the fall books, last I checked nothing was there. I think I might know who you are by you saying when you left! lol! Two people finished prior to me and I finished shortly after the second person maybe 10 minutes later, it took me about 45 minutes to complete. I was the next person to leave after you (if you were the second person to leave), everyone else looked pretty busy so I wonder how long it took most people. The first person that left I didn't notice, I just saw someone leave in the corner of my eye but I saw the second person...do you have dark hair?
I'm headed to visit a friend in Colorado for a long weekend but will hit the book store next week, let me know if you go and I'll let you know when I go and we can either meet or tell the other person any info we learn on our book store visit! Oh - I'm going to head to check out my grade probably right around 9am being I have a flight to catch in the afternoon maybe I will see you there. I'm in my mid-30's(now leaning towards late 30's! lol!), tall and have blonde hair a little past my shoulders...if you think you see me say hi! :)
Haha yeah I have dark brown hair...was wearing a blue tank and black shorts. I'll let you know when I go to the bookstore... dealing with some car issues so unless I can get my fiancé to take me over one evening it probably will be a little before I get there. I'm going to try to go to check my grade once I get my car fixed.
