Burlington County College Fall 2011 Nursing Program..acceptance letter yet??

Hi! I applied for the fall 2011 Nursing Program at Burlington County College and was just wondering if anyone else on here is waiting to hear if they got in. I've finished all of my pre-req's with honors and live in county but I know it's a matter of who gets their applications in first so I'm still really nervous :uhoh3:! Just looking to see if anyone else on here is in the same boat being I know I can't be the only one! Hoping to get a letter soon! :)

Did any of you guys apply this last April or you applied last year in November... Please let me know.

I applied last November and got waitlisted for spring 2011. I reapplied in April and got accepted for this upcoming semester.

got everything i need for the fall! so exciting i order my stethoscope at medisave its the cheapest place online and they engrave for free i ordered mine on wednesday and it came in the mail today! did any one got a colored one?

Thanks for the info on medisave. I went on there and found the stethoscope we are supposed to get. I'm really thinking about getting the carribean blue one with the rainbow metallic parts. And the fact that they engrave it for free, even better.

I got the email from the lady from Virtua to get my login info. I put BCC down for the address because I wasn't sure if they wanted that one or my own. I called and spoke to someone in IT and they told me to use BCC because other people who do those forms use the doctor's office they work for, etc. They were incredibly helpful.

Headed to the bookstore one day next week to get the rest of my stuff. (Scrub top that needed to be ordered because they ran out of my size already, syllabus, name tags). Anyone find a cheap place for the shoes? Target.com had nurse mate shoes that actually look like sneakers so I may go for them. They were $59.99

Just a heads up on the shoes I found a nice pair on sale at sears.com for 44.95! and most other styles are cheaper then what they are at target. Happy shopping!

Hi guys! I ordered my stethoscope from medisave last week and haven't gotten it yet...hope all is ok with my order being naen seemed to get it faster. I'll have to check. The BCC book store called and my name tags are in, I'll go pick them up tomorrow or the next day. All I have left is the shoes, I will check out Sears, thanks! We're planning a last minute family vacation to Disney mid-August to surprise my daughter so I'm going to start my reading soon so that I have plenty of time to make sure I know all we're supposed to know for the first class. When we got the letters the fall semester seemed so far away now it seems like it is coming up fast! I got my physical, just waiting on the blood work to come back and the tetorifice is on backorder through the state or something they said...anyone else have that issue? They put me on the top of their list to get it done as soon as it comes in, but nervous it won't get here in time...anyone else??? :confused: We're on our way guys!!!! :yeah:

My doctor's office had the tetorifice. I had to get the HepB booster too because apparently I'm not immune to it??? even though I definitely had the series done when I was in high school. Anyway, I have to go back for more bloodwork the beginning of September to check and make sure the shot worked, so it looks like I have to sign the waiver box for the HepB.

I'm just about finished chapter 1, and now that I actually have the syllabus I can take notes on the stuff we really need to know for chapters 4 and 5, rather than do the whole freaking chapter like I did for 1. I felt like it was a never ending chapter. I think I have two pages left in the book but I've done almost 4 front and back handwritten pages.

Less than 3 weeks to go!! :-) Who's going to the orientation on the 22nd?

Hi! My Dr.'s office called days after I left and they had the tetorifice shot. I'm all set! Sorry you have a HepB situation! Hopefully it worked this time. I'm leaving Sunday for a week in Disney with my family, a last hooray before we start school and my daughter starts school. Can't wait for vacation and I can't wait to start classes! I will be there on 8/22 and I can't wait to hear what they have to say! Looking forward to meeting some of you guys! My stethoscope was finally delivered today, (took about a month due to an inventory issue they said) it's so exciting!!! lol!! See you guys at orientation!

Yeah I got mine a few days later and was immediately trying it out on myself and my family. Enjoy your vacation! Im sure it will be great. I love Disney! (planning my honeymoon there in '13)

Hello everyone!!

You have no idea how happy i was to stumble upon this site and find fellow nursing students who will be attending BCC!!

I am so excited! However, I am planning to go to orientation tomorrow but of course I can't locate the invitation that was sent to me. I know it starts at 10AM but I have no clue where to go!! Help please!! :)

Looking forward to meeting you guys at school tomorrow!!

I just got wait listed after being denied 2 times. It's so discouraging. Who did you call? Kim? How many others were in your class that were wait listed and got in? :(

How are you doing in the program now? I was finally accepted and start this fall!! I am so excited!!! Any tips aside from study hard?
