Burlington County College Fall 2011 Nursing Program..acceptance letter yet??

Im in the same boat. All done pre'reqs as of last summer. I dropped my application at the Pemberton post office on Nov 1st, also live in county. I just took the medication administration course (Jan 11 intersession) to get that out of the way... now just waiting...

It was fast paced. It was new material but if you are descent/good at math its not too bad. I got my waitlist letter last year in the beginning of March so im assuming we'll hear by then...

Thank you, I figured the class would involve a lot of math. I hope we hear by March, having to wait until mid-April would drive me nuts!

hey guys I just started the program this semester and its great. If you finished your prereqs I dont think you'll have an issue getting in. I finished all my prereqs over the summer. as far as the med administration class its not too bad if you are decent at math like the other person on here said. Good luck!

Thanks so much for answering! All of my pre-req's are done and with really strong grades and I live in county so I'm hoping that's enough!! It's out of my hands now obviously so all I can do is stalk my mailbox as I'm sure you did waiting to hear! I'm going to buy the book for the medication course if I get an acceptance letter and study it ahead of time so I know what to expect.

You like the program so far? I've always heard the first semester is overwhelming, I'm ready for it but scared too! Good luck and thanks!!

Lol I did stalk my mailbox. I love the program and yes it's very overwhelming. It's unlike any class I've ever taken. But I've heard as long as I keep up with the assignments I'll be ok. The medication class wasn't bad but I was glad I chose to take it. I'm good at math but don't think i'd be able to teach it to myself. It's a short class too only 5 classes so it's definitely worth taking.

nothing yet... I know they are working on them as a friend received a letter stating there were problems with her application about a week ago. I think we will here in about 2 weeks... just a hunch thou... :cool:

same boat! last year i got my wait list letter march 29 but there were people in one of my classes that got their acceptance letters the week before that. I've talked to alot of people and most have said that once your prereqs are done youll most likley get in. just keeping my fingers crossed. good luck guys!

Good luck to you too! I've heard that about having all of the pre-req's done too, so I'm hoping that is accurate but I'm still nervous and won't believe it until I see it in writing! Tricia, good to know about your friend thanks and I truly hope your hunch is right!! I joke with my friend who is also waiting that I don't know who is more excited to see the mail man each day...me or my dog! lol! Let me know as soon you guys hear and I'll do the same! Good luck!!!
