Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Published

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

Iv also heard good things about West coast university in doral they have the same program as chamberlin to get your bachelors in 2 years if you have transferable credits. Anyone looking into that school too?

Hey guys so I spoke to someone that just graduated from chamberlain and he said it's a really good program and if you already have your AA it cuts down to 2 years making it about 40-50k. He just got a job at memorial hospital.

Thank you for the input that is definitely one of my options their Hesi is a little different that browards because it also has the biology and chemisty section but the only good thing is you have to get a 75 overall so you have an advantage of doing very well in some sections and won't affect you so much if you do poorly in one or two sections

I scheduled an appointment with west coast university on July 5th they have two fall terms one that starts on August and the other fall term starts October 31! I'm applying here and if my alternate seat doesn't follow through I'll apply to the January 2017 program since they let us know if we're in by October of things don't workout I'll have a backup lol

I am actually retaking English at Keiser, it's a one month online class and you can only pay cash for the class, no financial aid and it is $2200 just FYI for anyone who is interested in retaking a passed class.

Do you know if it's that amount for each individual class. I was thinking of retaking English as well as my anatomy 1 course

I would like to retake my English class as well but it's so expensive to come out of pocket so quick. it's so many choices to pick with private nursing school. I think because I have seen 5 of my nurses came from chamberlain when I had surgery at memorial. I'm leaning towards Chamberlain depending on the time it's going to take me and the cost. The only thing for me is that I wanted to not work and live off of fA and taxes lol so I can submit my all. I don't think private school give refund checks

the good thing about chamberlain it's that if you already have an AA or most pre reqs they require you can get it done in 2 years which is great my only concern is the expense.

If you are not there for an entire semester or four classes then you pay for each class cash $2200

is anyone applying for Nova for winter term? if so have you already submitted your application?

I'm taking classes at kieser with fianaical aid
