Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Published

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

so do you think I should email nichole to tell her I want to reapply for january? or should I just wait since they already have my application from applying for august?

So I have a friend who's planning on going to chamberlin now and by the looks of it it's not so bad she will be doing the BSN there instead of ASN and since she has an AA a lot of her credits transferred over from Miami dade college she was telling me the BSN program would cost her $40,000 that's before financial aid kicking in tho. I'm looking into this option if my alternate seat isn't given to me. Just wanted to share some input on different colleges

She will be done in 2 years

im meeting with them Thursday

It's not bad at all

its completely worth it

yes but if you think about it, it's worth it.. Plus if you've done pre reqs and they transfer over it cuts the cost

that price includes all pre reqs plus the classes it takes to get your bachelors

younwont be a regular asn rn you'll be a bsn

to me its worth it if you really think about it

plus they're a really good school

i have friends going there

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] you think a $90,000 BSN is worth it? so go there. I'm sure they don't care what your GPA is.

Well if you have credits from other schools it's $40,000

Not including financial aid or anything so could be paying out of pocket like 25000 or 30000

They actually do care about your gpa. 2.75 and higher to get in the school. If you have credits from other schools it's cuts the cost majorly. How about you research it

Thats not bad for a Bsn 40,000?? So will that cut the time down to 2 years? The only thing I'm a mother of 2 and I was trying not to work for the first 6 mo at least just to get a hang of everything. I just got an email from them about open house I might go.

Just confirmed my spot at the open house next month. Going to bring my official transcript to see what will transfer and how I can cut some of the cost down. Maybe I could still work a part time job. I'm so anxious to go and view the school and see what they tell me

You should make an appointment with an advisor they can help you more plus they can get you in days so you can figure things out

I am actually retaking English at Keiser, it's a one month online class and you can only pay cash for the class, no financial aid and it is $2200 just FYI for anyone who is interested in retaking a passed class.
