Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

My app says pre program application and no points awarded :/ I wonder if it's taking so long since I turned my application 2 days before 9/15. Sighh I hate waiting

Mine has said "Application in Review" since I turned it in. Zero points still but I'm not worried.

Hey Hey Hey everyone....

I think I've been reading through this entire thread for the last hour and a half

I recieved the email basically saying Congrats on returning to BC but your Nursing application has not yet been accepted....I started having palpitations I swear, immediately went to Central campus and spoke with who I now believe was Nicole. I was told basically to ignore the email.

I have a 3.0 gpa and 90s in Hesi. I was awarded 6 pts, which I was bummed about because it seems so low. The person I spoke with said that's average.

I have also heard of lower gpa's being accepted in the past. I applied once before years and years ago, wasn't accepted and gave up. But now I'm back.

I believe what's meant for you is meant for you, and I'm praying that I'm accepted and can move forward with my awesome future ahead of me.

I was told today that maybe in the next week or two decisions will be sent out.

My application still says it's pre-program and hasn't updated to the current semester's and still has transcripts not checked off or evaluated. Hopefully by next week it'll go into review :) Good luck to everyone, just a few more weeks left.

When did you turn in your app? And to what campus?

i wouldnt worry about when you turned it in my application has still not been processed and I turned mine in at the end of August

Hi all I am also waiting for my application to be processed as well, still says when I applied back in 2014. What campus are you you guys trying to attend ? I am aiming for north campus if I get accepted

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I checked with my team (both north and central), they are processing the last few weeks of the app period. Watch your MYBC account for any updates.
