Broward College Nursing Program January 2017

Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.

I applied September 7th and I just got points today and had my application moved to "in review." Before today it actually said "pre-application" and was blank for the most part. Nicole told me today actually that they were still going through applications and then mine got updated, so try not to worry. I'm sure by next week for sure, you'll have points. They're not going in any type of order.

when i log into mybc I keep praying it will change and it doesn't. I have made myself so paranoid that i cant help but think the worst. Fingers crossed it will update by next week.

No points for me either. I applied mid-August to the north campus. I'm a pretty patient guy though. So I'm not too worried... yet

when i log into mybc I keep praying it will change and it doesn't. I have made myself so paranoid that i cant help but think the worst. Fingers crossed it will update by next week.

Oh don't do that to yourself. The nursing department closes at 4pm, so I've been allowing myself to only check once a day at that time. I was getting paranoid too because I know one of my transcripts is incomplete although I have all my prereqs completed so I've been worried that I'll get denied because of that transcript or that I won't be able to register for classes if I do get accepted etc. but worrying really won't help except to make you paranoid and feel stressed out. You know you turned everything in, did you do it in person? You paid your fee right? So you are going to be a-okay :) They had a lot of applications to sort through. Try to check just once a day starting next Monday and hopefully by next Friday you'll be in review and have your points. I have my fingers crossed for you too :)

My prereq gpa is a 4.0, and I got a 94 overall on the HESI. I have IB credit for ENC1101 so it's just my anatomy courses that I counted for the prereq gpa.

Did you get points yet?

Lol thank you, I hope so!

I'm just worried about my dumb transcript being incomplete. I'm taking classes right now at FIU and wasn't able to register at Broward this semester because of that and they're still in progress so I'm hoping I'll be able to register in November for the nursing program although my FIU final grades won't post until December :/

well I guess we both applied around the same time to North campus. That makes me feel a little more relaxed. I guess because some many thing depend on getting accepted i just want to know that my application is processed.

I turned everything in in person and paid the fee the same day. That's what make my fear so irrational.

I'm so worried that they might've missed my application or something :/ I'm seeing that everyone is receiving points but me. I really hope I see a change on my status by next week.
