I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
Good luck on the HESI, it's not too bad :) North campus seems to be the favorite and south I have heard to be pretty strict as well as central. I would just go to the one that is most convenient for you to attend :)
Hey, my name is Diana. I also applied for the August 2016, Nursing program. I have a 3.09 GPA and my Hesi scores were 80% Math, 76% A&P, 80% Vocab., 86% Reading, and 76% Grammar. I turned in my application today. I am so excited to have come this far and can't wait to start the program!! I really wanted to start in May but when I turned in my application today the health science advisor I believe her name Jessica said that the May start was already filled. So I guess August it is. I would like to go to either Central or South. Preferably Central since I have heard better reviews for that campus. What campus is everyone here planning on attending?
Definitely study the HESI Prep book.. I also took a ton of practice tests online.. There was a lot of ratio questions like 1:2=__:4 ... on the math section that I just happened to study the night before thankfully.. I just wrote it out as fractions and that was helpful for me
Use the HESI app and the Elsevier book. There are a lot of conversions. Know your measurements, military time, mixed fractions, percentages. Hope this helps.
@th3292 thank you for creating this post . i am looking to start nursing program in Aug as well. I did the hesi using hesi book from local library and the cram app. Im willing to join study group with anyone who want to. @ashley1186 thanks for going the extra mile to help
Hey, has anyone's limited access application gotten updated? Mines still says "No limited access application to display." It has been 2 weeks since I have submitted my application and there is STILL no application showing!! I know in previous threads for BC Nursing they had their applications put in quick. Why is ours taking so long??!
