I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
Hello everyone I just checked and my application has updated all my transcripts are evaluated and I received gpa points as well as a check mark for the Hesi and a check mark for the math courses but it says N/A for the fee paid has anyone fee shown up yet from the $20?
so what is the status change that lets you know you are in?
like what is it supposed to say after "application in review"
Once you are initially accepted it will say pre-admission. But you have to get orientation, background check, drug test, etc finished before fully admitted.

Oh okay! I was like wait I just submitted mine too and I haven't gotten any update lol. Ugh it's been over a week now I know it can take up to two weeks but still [emoji86] congrats now just wait for that acceptance letter[emoji123]ðŸ¼

once it say pre-admission, how long do we have to complete everything such as orientation, drug test, and background check to still be considered? I just want to have an idea of the time frame.
They are processing the people who turned in their application first and going in order. I turned mine in 7 weeks ago on March 28 and still the application does not show up. I was told that they just started processing applications for fall nursing this week so it will take a while. Although the ones who turned it in earlier like me will be processed and then go in order I'm guessing. No one will get admitted until everyone's application is in the system this is what I was told by the health science department. So we have to keep waiting. I'm sure we will all have an answer by the end of the month or the beginning of June. Fingers crossed.:)
They tell us that in orientation. They give us all the information on what we need to have done and by when. Orientation is done after all the nursing applicants are accepted and then they will email us when our orientation is. That is when we find out all the things that need to get done.
