Hello!
I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
Hello everyone
I applied way back in March....my application has been in review since then. Today I saw they evaluated my transcripts . My GPA isn't so great I have a 2.9 and a 84% overall in the hesi...I really hope I get selected to south campus...Anyone else coming from south Miami ...Cutler bay area?
I am currently taking micro now! Any tips? I'm a straight A student and I'm already beginning to accept that I possibly may have to settle for a B in this course. If anyone found any useful resources for this course that helped for either lecture or lab please let me know!
Also, am I the only one who's been granted points? It seems like all the applications update at different times. Both my best friend and I have had our points granted and status changed to 'application in review' but not many others have. Good luck to everyone still applying and taking their HESI's this week.

You don't get selected for a campus I thought the same. And also I have a 2.8 about the same overall HESI I'm nervous too but just trying to stay positive, hoping to get in!
You'll pick your campus based on whatever is left over once we get to register. It's nerve wrecking !

Ugh it's tough. My lecture teacher was awesome her tests were based off of her power points, the book helped as well. And my lab teacher kinda was similar, the midterm is what got me left with a C in lab I did so horrible but honestly I wanted to get As and it's hard but it's doable just study very hard! Use all the resources your teachers give you, quizlet is helpful too!
And is it mandatory to register for orientation before being admitted ?
You don't register for orientation. When you are admitted and receive an acceptance email, you respond to the email saying you accept your seat.
In the acceptance email they give you a mandatory day to attend the pre-admissions orientation, and after that once you are given registration codes and have registered at your campus, you then attend that specific campus orientation.
Both are mandatory.
