Hello!
I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
hi so i applied in march and a, waiting myself for a result. now my only concern is gpa and what courses they take into accountability. when i left my prior school my gpa was 2.82, and bc accum is 2.49 and now im freaking out because you need a 2.5. i passed my hesi with flying colors, over the 83 percent tile.
my gpa is not as high as most of you so im worried about it.
my question is how do you calculate the points you are referring to, and should i be worried about my gpa
i even spoke to a nursing adviser before i applied and i told her my grades based off the classes she said are important and she said i should have no problem, but the gpa thing is stressing me out.
so if i got:
B in a&p1 and lab
c in a&p2 and lab
english: C
micro and lab: C
college alegbra: A
so what is it calculated?
answers please lol
The way they do it is like this for example I had an A in enc1101 that's 4 points a A in anatomy 1 a C in lab thats 2 points and a B in anatomy 2 that's 3 points and a C in lab 2. If you add up those 5 grades it's 15 points divide it by the number of classes which is 5 it turns into a 3.0 that's how u get awarded the points for the pre reqs

I thought it was only English, anatomy 1 & 2 with lab and college level math ??
