I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
I got K-swiss, I saw couple nurse students walking around on them and the are very comfortable. I am taking micro in a full term this class is not easy no matter what professor you are taking with, but my current professor she is the best, I love her. Unfortunately like any class you take it take is a lot of dedication and studying I am glad I am done with it because I would never recommend it to take with nursing classes; for example I have always done full-time school 5 classes and this the first time I took only 3 classes and it felt like I was taking 5. I study 5 hours a day and many students are not doing so well but for me to maintain 97 in the class it necessary.
what kind of shoes did you get?
Are you taking the micro in full term of summer? I'll have to take it next summer since I couldn't take it this term.
I actually mine just clear today and my friends too, but we call, we chatted with them and email them. Pretty much last couple days. I hope it works out for you
Is anyone is South Campus having the finger print "pending status" issue ?
I found all white leather vans shoes (the black logos on the back can be scraped off) They are skater shoes so it's really comfy and I think it would be better to wear them for 12hrs at clinicals. Did you try on the nursemates shoes?
Yeah and they were too pricey for my taste. I ended up going to payless and bought some super cute white leather, no logo, no holes, safety proof shoes $30!
Hey guys, I can't find the email that was sent out on the directions on organzing the folder. Do we have to give the school the originals for everything except ceu's and the cpr card? Or do we keep all the originals and give them copies of everything?

Make copies of everything ( 3 sets for central campus). You give the school the copy ones excepts the physical form.

You have to give them the original physical and the receipt for the drug screen and fingerprints. You have to make sure you have copies of those and all other documents.
Okay awesome!! For the criminal background check, complio resent me a file that showed that everything is clear. Is that what I have to print out for the school? Or is it the little pop up screen that shows whats pending and whats completed on complio?

I am done with shopping school supplies and getting all ready for my first day of class. Now waiting to get my books. Ladies and Gentleman August 1st is here, in less than 3 weeks we will be officially nursing students.
