I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
I'm so jealous you guys are starting Process 1 & 2 in the Fall. I'm stuck here in Process 2 with two tests on Monday. I bet this would have been 40% less stressful if this was a full term=/
I am so happy that I summited my package to school a week before it was due and the dean checked it. I took my shoes with me and have her look at them she answered all of my questions and spent time giving me few tips, I am so thankful for her time. I was so scared to buy shoes and wear them and then to be told I had the wrong shoes. I stop working so every penny counts. Now can really focus on my classes. Micro is kicking my butt lol.
Hey everyone, I've been looking at shoes and would all white leather vans be acceptable? I figured it would be easy to get rid of the little "vans" logo tag on the side.
My VECHS fingerprinting is still pending. It's making me so nervous..... My criminal background check and the 10 panel drug screening came through right away. Does anyone have this problem?
Can anyone tell me under the textbooks list for our schedules what the Nursing kit *non returnable* is? what does it consist of?

It's tubing and supplies for when you learn medication administration. It also has another part which is given to you in lab for process 2. This includes syringes, iv bags, more iv tubing and vials to draw from. That portion you keep in lab.
I turned in all my paperwork last week after orientation (central campus). All I printed out was the first page of the PDF for the background check, employment verification, and drug screen that all had green check marks and stated "no flags". I made a copy of the DAON receipt for the fingerprints and that was sufficient for them. Make sure to make 3 copies of everything.
My fingerprints are still pending as well. They show received in DAON's system 11 days ago. You can login to your DAON account and see if and when the fingerprints were received by DAON.

Got them at the uniform store in plantation. I think it's called uniforms of America. It was the cheapest.
