  1. P.S. you really should not make up stories and use this forum as a way to slander somebody. You're childish and immature. Going to the clinical instructor to try and get a student in trouble is an all time low for you. You're the kind of person who believes the world revolves around them. You're worried so much about what other people are doing instead of focusing on your studies.
  2. It's really funny Zelda or wannabeny that you posted this. I think you need to mind your own business and worry about passing GIGU next time.
  3. you can read vitals chapter and physical assessment. Anything else will just be a waste of time. Except for very few instances, you'll not need to read if you're at North campus. The teachers take all their questions from the lecture.
  4. The math test is exactly the same as the work books. Know how to do all those problems, she might change the values of the dosage but it's same style. Also do not read the chapters in process line by line...Maybe just go over it, get a general idea. All her tests are taken directly from her lecture slides and what she says in lecture. Everything that is on her test she covers in lecture. You will be wasting your time if you continue to try and read all those chapters. I was 1 point from an A in process 2 and a high B in process 1. Anyone that received a passing or high grade focused on the modules, lecture, and lecture slides.
  5. I'm so jealous you guys are starting Process 1 & 2 in the Fall. I'm stuck here in Process 2 with two tests on Monday. I bet this would have been 40% less stressful if this was a full term=/
  6. I received the email from the pharmacology professor. It says he uses D2L and I have logged on to try and get the introduction information but I cannot find it. I'm from FAU and we used blackboard so I have no idea where to look to find the information. It does not allow me to click on any course that is listed. If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.
  7. Thank you:) my friend actually sent me his schedule for process 1 with everything
  8. Does anyone have the syllabus for North Campus??? I would like to start reading ahead for process.. I purchased the bundle at the book store and got three sets of scrub tops/pants. I also purchased the Davis Drug guide that they said to get, as it is invaluable. I started reading vital signs in fundamentals. If anyone knows where we can download the syllabus or if someone else has it I would greatly appreciate it. I have --------------------- for nursing process 1...
  9. 280 applicants applied...200 were accepted ranging GPAs from 3.0-4.0...if you scored less than 6 points you were chosen as an alternate there are only 25 alternates
  10. Yay!!! Pre admission...I had a 3.7 GPA with 13 points
  11. So I've read all the horror stories and realize this program is not for the faint of heart, but nothing good ever comes easy. I will hopefully be attending North campus in May and I was wondering if anyone is currently in at North Campus or has graduated from the program. If you could give me a little review I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm super nervous about it but medicine in general has always been my passion. Not looking for people to slam the program but what were your humps and hurdles that you've had to pass through? How was the job market once you were close to graduating? Any topics in Fundamentals I should get ahold of? Also looking for the name of the book that teaches about critical thinking. If you have something that you think might be of use to this future male nurse please let me know.
  12. I'm pretty sure most of us got in. I've seen people awarded 3 points and minimal HESI scores get accepted. One of them is a friend who just graduated. I'm going to start a Facebook group for us.. I'm looking to go to North Campus=D
  13. As long as youve paid the application fee you should be fine...Mine has App in Review with my points calculated for GPA only...But Hesi and college level math course are both checked off
  14. Yay!!! Application has been updated and I was awarded 13 points!! and All other requirements are checked off!!
  15. I havent received any points yet and I've had everything submitted for quite some time now=(.. Still reading "Den-Transcripts Not evaluated"....I wonder how long it takes to evaluate my transcripts...Anyone else have this problem?? There were some hiccups because FAU never sent my electronic transcripts they had to send a hard copy..
