Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!

When you guys went to pay the $20 application fee did they give u any trouble? I don't understand why the person I spoke to told me I had to wait for application to process yet they won't process app until u pay??! I would hate to drive all the way over there and be given the run around u know what I mean?

Yeah I believe the one I have is a Littman in a maroon color. Will tell u for sure next week I have to go pick it up from my mom's house.

Once I turned in my application I immediately went next door and was able to pay at the cashiers office but that was at north, what campus are you applying at?

yea that was exactly what i did but at central. i sat with nichole while she put in my app and she told me the fee was up on my account so i went next door to the cashiers office and told them i needed to pay the application fee and they asked for my id and i paid. no problem at all.

but nothing sucks more then knowing we have to wait until march to find out!! its so frustrating when your mind is set on one thing and then it completely changes. but i guess everything happens for a reason and now were the first ones to apply for may and get to choose a campus rather then be stuck at south. how many points did you guys get for your gpa? (if you don't mind me asking). and where did you get your shots and the certifications?

I'm torn between central and south. South is much closer but central is so nice. I'm also taking into consideration the hospital that clinical are done in. But i was at central when I handed in app but since I had to leave it in drop box and I was told about waiting for it to process I didn't bother going to cashiers office. Now I wish I would have. No worries I'll get it taken care of.

@dolfan yes get it taken care of asap! I like the new science building at central but I heard they are not even using it yet. so its between north and central for me.

@ssoler i got 16 points, did not get my shots or certifications yet i plan on doing it after my micro class is finished, what about u?

Thanks. Which semester should i take micro? Im scared of taking it with other hard classes. about the scholarships, i was going to ask the same thing.....i currently work at publix. Its alright but id rather find a job on the weekends as a CNA. still no luck though. Ive been looking online for scholarships. I had no idea you could find scholarships through financial aid???

And bc is based on points? How are points given??

I heard the most laid back class of the program is Trends. It's the last class before you graduate. So I'm assuming than? Or maybe when we get a break but since we're starting summer I'm not sure when we get one. And yes you sure can but I think those scholarships are based on financial need since it's through ur FAFSA? I have to get more info on that. And yes the points are given based on your gpa of the pre-req courses (Eng 1101, Anat 1 & 2 lecture plus lab) I don't know the exact details of how they calculate it but 16 is the highest points which would be a 4.0 gpa in all of those subjects. I heard there's websites for point calculations by googling it.

yeah, I am just gonna have to not work that semester LOL.

I do receive financial aid, and I have my bright future's scholarship, it doesn't pay for everything but it helps a lot.

Have you guys attended the information session yet? I called and they told me the last one for the year is on November 20th!

I went to one back in April so Im not sure if Ill go to this one its probably the same info. What campus is it and what day/time
