Hi FutureRN0630 just curious did u get offered a seat at south recently at all? I only ask because I got an email from Nicole this morning indicating that they just offered all remaining seats at south campus to last few students whose application was reviewed and they are waiting to see if any defer seats before inviting more students

Hey guys! I am planning to apply to the program pretty soon. Just have to take the HESI exam. i took the TEAS for FAU and I did very well. I heard the HESI is easier? Either way, I have a CNA certification that exempts me from that HCP course. Has everyone here turned in their application? And BTW, FAU is not on my list anymore. I had really bad luck with my microbiology class instructors, I will just have to risk it by taking it my first semester if I get into the program at BC. Because micro was a pre-req for FAU, I was forced to not apply there. I even considered changing my major to physical therapist assistant, but nursing is where my heart is. Welcome gaby! Yes my application and a few others on here has it turned in but you still have alot of time. They will be sending out acceptances in march. Im assuming since your applying at North since its the closest to FAU? Either way good luck!

Yes, im applying to the north campus. I was going to apply to the january session but they told me it was full already. I just need to go to the info session and take the hesi at this point

Hi Gaby! Welcome! My suggestion to you when it comes to micro is that if it's possible try and take it now during winter term. I only suggest this because the micro lab midterm is no joke! I almost dropped the class after the midterm cause I thought I wouldn't be able to get my grade up. Luckily I had a good teacher and I worked my butt off and passed with a B. I have heard on previous post on other threads that it will be very difficult to take that course during the program that's why I took it already and got it out of the way. Just a suggestion if your not currently enrolled to take classes this term sign up now and get it out of the way. You'll be glad u did!!

I know. Unfortunately at bc you must take chemistry prior to micro so im taking that in the winter term. They wont let me take both at the same time so theres no way i can do it before starting the program. I was originally going to apply to just FAU so micro was first and chem was after. Thats why i havent taken chem either

Oh bummer! Well micro is a graduation requirement so maybe during one of the light semesters of the nursing program you can take it. Don't take it during first semester though. You'll have enough on your plate the first semester.

Question for all of you that already turned in application: does it show up on bc acct that you need to pay $20 yet? Mine doesn't show anything but I know Nicole has my application cause she told me but I know it's not under review yet. Do they wait till it's under review before charging?

I payed the $20 at the cashiers office once I left my application with Nichole.
