Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!
Is the weekend clinical schedule confirmed or are they still thinking about it? Yes, I agree it's so hard to work with that.
I applied in early December also.....grey hair is better than no hair...which is what I'm facing!!!
Will certainly look into baby sitting- thanks. Have been researching 'work from home' stuff, but mostly seems so dodgy. I will have to keep searching scholarships and loans I think...just scared of digging deep holes with the loans, but maybe that's smarter than setting yourself up for failure.
Saw all the new uniformed students yesterday on Central Campus...they looked great! Crisp, blue and full of excitement...WOW! :) I just wanted to hustle one of them to the ground and ask them 20 questions.
no, I am referring to clinicals being help on the weekends. Like, when can I work?! lolayyy
the struggle is real guys. HA! by the way...you're talking about applying first week of January, I applied back in early December....Ive got gray hairs coming in!

Hello Everyone,
Just thought I would post this here for you all. I just spotted this on the BC website. Hopefully this will give us a clearer picture of how doomed we really are! :) (sorry about the format- I just cut and paste). Thanks.

I attended one back in december. I didnt find much useful info from that. They tell you what you already know. But, if you wanna ask questions i would go.
The only thing they said that i didnt know was about when to take micro if it wasnt done before starting the program and that they were thinking of having clinicals on the weekends.
OH BOY
My app is in review...received a POSSIBLE 10/16 POINTS..seems low. Guess that was due to my stupidity in getting a B in anat lec 1 and english...
If I wasn't freaking out yesterday I SURE AM NOW.
ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS?? WONDER HOW LONG TILL IT CHANGES... PLEASE PRAY FOR ME YALL. hahaha

Weekend clinicals that I did were Saturdays during my OB rotation. :)

10 points is fine I had 10 and am doing great.
Thanks, I will try to attend, but I don't really have any questions right now. I do want to hear what they say and I'm sure I will end up having more questions after it. Yeah, I guess clarifying the weekend rotations would be good. I'm taking Micro now, so, I should be okay.

Thanks, those might actually work better with my personal schedule, but it ruins any chance of work. How did you like them? I mean from a training perspective- were the same learning opportunities available? 0600-1800?
Was the Saturday rotation only available for OB? What happens to the other departments then?

Acitrone, I started chem, but it is an express class only offered at central. So thats' my life right now. Then I will be taking micro as express as well for the second half of this term! dreading it already as I withdrew from micro at FAU from horrible experiences with the professor.
