Broward College Nursing May 2015

Published

Hi everyone I didn't see one made yet so I guess this will be the official thread for BC May 2015!

Yeah I wouldn't trust either, I'd get a copy of the physical transcript and walk it in myself so that I know they have it.

I would if I could, but the school that it's being sent from is all the way in Vermont!

Yikes! Well is it at least coming to you?

No, it's supposed to be going directly to BC

Damn...well hopefully it gets there after the holiday rush....if it doesn't get there by the second or third week in jan then I suggest you try again but try to bring it yourself

I'm Retracking so I'll be getting my AS in August, but I still get to graduate with my AA in May and ADN in August 2015. I get two degrees now instead of one. :)

I wanted to ask did you fail both Or did you withdraw? You retracked twice?

(Saying nice. ...I know Internet can sound harsh?)

Failed both. Family problems and job loss caused me to lose focus, but I'm restarting in March to graduate in August.

For anyone asking about how someone can fail a certain amount and still be in the program. This should clear things up.

So only because you have the lpn already. ... otherwise you would be out and have to go get that lpn to come back. Ok. I get that now

Yes, or you can do what my boyfriend and a lot of other students do: Challenge LPN boards (Board of Nursing in Oklahoma) after finishing Ortho (third to last class). You save yourself a year.

So If you fail 4-7 credits you're out and you'll have to get your lpn license first? I mean each class is like 3 credits and a clinical lab is 2. OMG!!! you can only fail one class. What if the processor purposely failed you? I think I'm gonna take a closer look at Miami dade nursing program.

Theory is 3 credits. Lab is 2. Lab in specialties is 1 credit (OB, psych, Peds ). Failing the math, clinical, theory once and you have to retrack. If you fail theory again (6 credits) then it's lpn school.

Hey guys! If any of you know of anyone that has to take the HCP class or anatomy classes I have my textbooks I'm selling! Just give me a shout I'm selling way cheaper then the bookstore and they are in great condition! Please spread the word! Thanks so much!
