Hello everyone! Wondering if any one knew a place I could get a cna or hha license in like one or two weekends?i really don't want to take the hcp001

Um. CNA is a program. You can't just get a license like that.

Hey guys!

Its been ren a long time comin for me, but I finally completed my anatomy 1 and 2, along with the labs and core course (just got my certificate Monday). Also got the HESI out the way on Wednesday after stressing so much about it, to go there and realize it really ain't that bad. I'm not a huge math person yet I ended up sailing with an 82 in it LOL. Thank goodness! After struggling with anatomy at nova, coming to Broward was probably the best decision I've made to give myself the fresh start I needed. I had no problems acing it here. And thankfully got a 92 (highest) on the Hesi for anatomy. I'm so thankful to not have to take it again cuz I know I'd be pulling my hair out lol . The original plan was to apply for January but since the the term is full, may is it. Although I took micro at nova, they didn't approve it here,

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES OF THOSE IN YOUR PROGRAM PER TOS), South campus. Bam. She's the best.

Try looking up Paramount Training in Davie.

At Central, I recommend (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES OF THOSE IN YOUR PROGRAM PER TOS) for lecture. Quickly complete the study guides as well as the extra credit opportunities and homework assignments to the best of your ability. Focus on the material she goes over in class and on the powerpoints. You only really need to read through the chapters with understanding once. Look over the charts and pictures for concepts again as well as the chapter summary for review before the exam. She's willing to help you if you're respectful. Don't talk during lecture or try to cheat on exams by the way, which you shouldn't even think about doing anyway...She's strict on that. For lab, Burgess was fair. The pre-lab quizzes were online. Whichever professor you choose, Micro is really something else...the practical was hard, but it isn't impossible to get an A in the class if you focus and study smart :)

actually you can. I went to a school in west palm that is fully accredited and did an express class that only took a weekend to do, only thing is that in order to get the HCP class waived you HAVE to have the license, therefore you have to take the test and pass it. The test also takes a while because they send you a letter as to when you have to take the test, it took them about 3 weeks to issue me a date and then I waited another 2 weeks for the test. Because of all the money and time involved, if I were you I would just take the HCP course.

Thanks guys! Also for the ladies about the PCOS....I've never heard of it being caused by birth control that's strange. I was diagnosed when I was 18 and was NOT on the pill as yet. My period was a full 14 days sometimes longer if I was stressed, that's when doc ordered the tests and found the cysts. I was then put on the pill. Now don't get me wrong my first experience with the pill wasn't great, I had every pregnancy symptom there was! Nausea, vomiting, sensitive to smell, the whole nine yards. Until I told the doctor and she changed me to a very low hormone pill. I've been on it for five years now and so far so good. Period comes every month 5 days at most.

yeah I don't think mine was caused by BC, because my periods have always been out of whack, when I was younger I would get periods for a whole month then nothing for another whole month or two. It was weird

I'm really irked that one of my transcripts hasn't been received yet but neither school (sending or free receiving) has a clue as to where it is

Yea the hormone imbalance just seems to throw our body out of whack, periods especially.

Yeah I wouldn't trust either, I'd get a copy of the physical transcript and walk it in myself so that I know they have it.
