Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

for those other classes you have to go to bc site and register.forget the 4/28 class.click on the classes available that say mtwtf.(.every day)and as soon as you pay the classes it will already appear in your d2l to start.

Ok it is showing up now. That is the class I signed up for, but it wasn't showing up before. I guess it just took some time to register. I am starting that now. Then all I will have left to do is attend the BLS course and I will have all of my paperwork together. I am ordering my stethoscope within the next few days.. and then I will need to buy books. Did you guys order them online? If so, from where? I'm starting to feel a bit overwhelmed already and the semester hasn't even started yet!!

I emailed Nicole and she said that my seat is guaranteed for August 2014. I replied referring my seat. The question is... Do we have to attend the orientation and hand in all the documentation anyway? I asked Nicole and I didn't have an answer so far.

I'm still tossing whether or not I want to defer,so if we do we definitely have a seat? what do we need to do to defer our seat? im wondering also if we hand in everything even if we do not start in May

couple questions:

1. Do you have to complete all the paperwork before registering for the classes?

2. Anyone did the drug screening as yet? How long does it take to get back the results?

3. The certifications are valid for 2 years. Lets say I completed them in nov 2012, are they still ok?

is there a way too use the bc email on your phone and send emails? Every time I click bc site it is down and the link takes me to Outlook but my mail is not there? That site logs in but it doesn't seem to be valid? I am getting the email I forwarded but that Outlook site doesn't show any emails and says forwarding is disabled. frustrating.

Can you set it up as an account on a smart phone that sends mail from that account?

There's an app called OWA and you log in with your broward college account and yeah. That's what I use cause going on the internet each time is annoying. I have an iPhone so don't know if you have the same phone.

Do a practice run. Login, put in the codes but don't press submit lol. But highlight your codes and have them in order and punch in the empty slots and get ready to click submit lol. Good luck everyone :)

You would get it now and again in flu season when the new shot comes out.

Hey guys I went to the doctor and he said we are not in the season for the flu shot, as iammnrn said it will be available between sep and mar, so I have to wait until then, so do you guys think it will be a problem in my immunization? or I can take it later without problem with BC admissions??

For anyone who is going to north did you get any emails on books and supplies.I emailed north and asked them and they said the list is attached and corresponds with the classes.I don't know what that means I did not get anything
