Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

In my experience, clinical hours varies among instructors. For process 1 and 2 we start at 6:30 and finished by 4 pm. For gigu, we start 6:30 and leave at 5. For summer the schedule might be different ( maybe 2x a week clinical) since you only have 6 weeks compare to 8 weeks. This only applies to central campus. I have no idea on other campus.

Do we need to get the flu shot now, or in the flu season?

You would get it now and again in flu season when the new shot comes out.

Hi all!! I decided to defer my seat until august, i wish you all the best!!
Hi I am thinking about doing the same thing but I am afraidthat I loose my seat. Do they give you any paper stating that your seat is safe for fall 2014?

I just sent Admissions an email about the same thing. Waiting to find out the last minute that we were accepted threw off my whole life completely.

I see the spots for north are slim. They didn't even put the days but they all seem to be the same.

I think we would get that when we go to the next orientation. But that's just my guess

Everything ia finished now. Physical, backgrounds certificates, even got my portfolio together. Just waiting on orientation.

does anyone know if you defer seat until Aug are you guaranteed to get a seat?
