Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Another student and I were there for all of an hour. They will give you the app. It's not a lengthy process.. they said they won't start processing our grants until November they will pay for uniforms and books as well, we have to have our background and physical with all our personal info.. just go next week it will be worth it.GOOD LUCK

This isn't about the Memorial hospital or broward hospital employment contract and grant is it? If it is, I can't do that one because they contract you in for 3 years :( so if this is what It is I would rather not take time off work and loose pay if so.

Career Source Broward is different than the hospital scholarships.

If you read earlier post.. I specifically said "Career Source Broward formerly known as Workforce One " After you have finished process two Memorial & Broward will interview prospects for their program.. lol..we are all super excited the post was just a FYI for those who might be interested. I even provided their telephone number for any inquiries.. Give it a shot nothing beats a failure but a try.. tbh. It's a matter of preference! I would love to get picked up by one of the hospitals... it's guaranteed job placement and nursing experience after graduation.

i wish I could do the hospitals but I'm not from Florida and have to go home after graduation to my family :(

I just called the Broward office and they said only broward residents can apply with the Broward office. So now I'm on the hunt for the dade county info lol

Monday I am going to the Career Source Broward with my sister. We we're planning on saving every last penny to survive as long as we can with out relying on out parents so this would help a whole lot. Thank you for the info washird.
