Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Your welcome, I was in the lpn to rn program that started May last year at south campus and all I will tell everyone here is please don't forget God throughout this journey. My first term there I failed my last final for the term by two points...and they retracked me. I figured I would just work as an lpn then apply for a generic program, and thank God I got in. Oh and there's no difference in the timeframe of the generic program or the lpn to rn program, both are 17 months. There were days I cried while driving cause it's so overwhelming but with God all things are possible. Please be encouraged.

I'll be there October 16 at 9 am! So excited! It seems like most people on here want to go to North campus- Is anyone hoping for central besides myself?

I'm debating about going to central or south, I've experienced south before and it's hell so I'm thinking lol.

Is everyone aware of the app called OWA ( outlook web access )? Instead of logging onto Broward.edu to check your student email all the time you just need your student email and password to use the app and all of the emails come straight through there. Hope this helps.

I use the normal outlook app and it works great- not sure if this is the same one that you're talking about.

Just an FYI- For the pre-admissions session, there is no established dress code. However, please make sure to dress appropriately (no revealing clothing, pajamas, etc).

Also, please bring a pen (blue or black ink only, no pencils).

Does anyone know the exact books we will need? I definitely want to get ahead as well I just want to make sure I don't get the wrong editions, etc. thank you!
