Broward College Nursing January 2012

Hey everyone!

This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! :D if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! Good luck everyone!!

Stay positive! The first few weeks were really tough for me when I took it this past summer. I started out with a low C, then started getting A's on my tests and my final grade was a B for both lab and lecture. So have faith, u will do great. :)

If you think about it central has a good schedule ( If you take math thursday 1:30 - 4:30 u also tk pharmacology after 5:00 - 7:00) So you are not on a long gap. How north has it you take Lecture monday 9 - 12 and then on monday at 5 you take pharmacology. So either we go home eat read read read then drive back to campus for 5pm class or we are stuck in school from 9-7pm on mondays.

Is it me and I am reading it wrong...that there is only one different option for central campus schedule...the math class..either Monday or Thursday.

I didn't get the email for the online track, but I'm ASSUMING that those who put that they were doing online on the contract we filled out at orientation were the only ones who got the email. They said that if you were interested that you had to put online on it.

Can you schedule any clinical... or are you only supposed to choose the clases on the list we were emailed??

I think you can only choose from the campus list they sent you, because I chose a different one and it said registration could not be completed

I registered for central...yay...I used the ref codes in the email...now there was only one ref # for each class..except math...I was given 2 options for either Monday or Thursday..after registering, I thought it kinda odd that there werent any options..so when I went back I saw they had another class for nursing process(different ref#) with a different teacher that wasn't listed in the email..so did they intentionally do that so the the classes were evenly spread out or did they mess up...I think I will give them a call today.

The clinicals are the labs and when you're done you will see lab and hospital listed in the schedule.
