Broward College Nursing January 2012

Hey everyone!

This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! :D if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! Good luck everyone!!

when everyone logs on and tries to register can they see what classes are available? I just logged in and it wouldnt even let me see which teachers are teaching what classes...

I am freaking out now because one of my certification courses is on 11/19 however south campus deadline is 11/17.... I want to go to central but in case I do not get to go to that campus what am i supposed to do

When you tried to register did the "winter 2012" even show? because mines doesn't anymore and I wanted to know if its because of the nursing that is blocking us from seeing it or is it my A.A.

P.S Last week I could see the winter 2012 so thats why I'm panicking.:uhoh21:

When you tried to register did the "winter 2012" even show? because mines doesn't anymore and I wanted to know if its because of the nursing that is blocking us from seeing it or is it my A.A.

Thats why i was panicking! Last week I saw winter 2012 and now i do not. I assume maybe they did that on purpose so we can't click on anything until Thursday at 8 A.M.

Did anyone email the financial aid guy named Egan?? I emailed him last Thursday and he did not respond. I dont know if he is overwhelmed with emails or if he just didnt respond..

Hes def overwhelmed with emails. I received a response from him around 445 yesterday and I emailed him as soon as I got out of orientation. Im sure he will respond soon!

whew..ok thanks, I looked for my registration status and it said I can only begin registering on the 27th. so there is nothing to worry about, Its just the nursing.

I think Egan is overwhelmed, most people said they emailed him that same day! Whew! Talk about cut throat! I have only recently emailed him after I completed FAFSA. What is the deadline for the certificates? I thought it was December? I actually lost a certificate;( Don't ask...I'm so stressed..it seems like it only gets more stressful...well thanks a lot for all your info and resources! See you soon guys-I plan on attending Central/I think Boward General goes there (or we do clinicals there).

When is central campus email coming!!! I am stressing out. If there deadline is before November 20th there is no way I am going to have everything in time... If I cant get into central south is the closest but I cant make it by there deadline and for North campus i would have to leave the house an hour early everyday... which means 5:30 A.M. on clinical days... I would be sleep deprived plus that's a lot of gas money and money for tolls everyday... I wonder how hard it is going to be to get our campus of choice...

I am waiting and stressing about the central campus dates to turn in our stuff too..is it me or does anyone think that the 11/17 date for south is kinda short...I mean we are coming out of pocket for everything..I know we knew everything would be expensive but come on in todays economy everything is tight...that's less than a month after our pre admin orientation...well I hope central gives a little more time than that..

Just got Central's email.... December 2nd is the date. However, we have an Orientation meeting on November 16th.... pretty much all day. Registration in the morning.... whoo hoo!!!! :bdyhdclp:

If you already received a vaccination previously do you need a titer? On the form it states if you have a medical record showing that you have been vaccinated that you do not need a titer however I thought I heard the orientation lady say something else.

for the south campus schedule , mhs and mrh mean in regards to nursing process i lab?... does it stand for the hospitals?
