Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

Yeah that would be great if she does. My job is not so flexible, I may have to find a part time job, if all goes well that is. Did you take Micro as of yet?

Yea I took everything needed to even graduate. Just to make life a little easier.

I hope I get in being that my math class ends on the 1st of March. But from reading a previous thread they will not be doing acceptance letters for bridge until mid March so hopefully I will be fine.

It doesn't hurt to try. You should be fine. I hope we all get in and successfully complete it

Same here, the least amount of stress possible.

Just put in my application! I thought I would be calm but I'm so anxious!!

I'm anxious as well :( my limited status page still says pre-program review, I don't know if that is normal or not. I sent my application in just before the winter break, so 2 weeks of agony waiting for it to even get there!!

I work full time at the moment, but my boss said if I wanted to cut back on my days and get longer shifts she would work with me completely, that way I can focus on school but keep my same income while working less days. Thank you, awesome boss!

Have faith, from what I've gathered, as long as you meet prerequisites and have a decent GPA and good HESI scores, you're accepted!

I saw Jessica at central campus today and she said decisions should be out mid to late March. I'm not looking at my application status until March to keep some sanity. lol

Decisions will start going out for the generic RN program toward the end of February, not the end of March. I would suggest watching your BC email starting the end of February.

Hahaha! I know the feeling. I check mine out twice a day.... I'm afraid to lose my chance. Talk about being a nervous wreck :whistling:

I turned in my application yesterday but it says no application on file limited access application status. Anyone else experience this? Does it take sometimes to change in the system?

If you turned your application in yesterday, please allow two weeks for processing. The applications and statuses are not automatically updated.
