Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.
My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.
My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0
Central Campus: Has anyone had Professor Sibi Peter or Professor Anissa Harris-Smith? Thoughts?
Ok. I'm in Smith's class right now. lol. Truth be told you will be teaching yourself these chapters. HOWEVER! She is not a bad person. I think she's quite funny to be honest. She isn't a lubby dubby kind of teacher. She is a straight shooter, so some people who are sensitive get offended by her strong personality. Don't mess around, and that's basically it. You know the rules, you know what is expected of you....so deliver. It is do-able. But your life will be based upon reading. If you really want it, it's your time to prove it.
Hey all, I'm currently surviving Process 2 at North. If anyone has any questions, I'd be more than happy to help. Send me an email: [email protected] :)
First semester over with, finally! Few days of a well deserved break and onto GIGU.
Hi,
I came across your comment on your first semester. I am starting in January, orientation is coming up. Can you shed some light on what to expect in Process I, II as far as test taking and study plan.
What was it like for you and what strategies did you use.
Your advice goes along way! :)

The bp cuff isn't part of the kit. The kit is for process 2. It's IV solutions and tubing, cvc bandaging, wraps and other things related to medication administration and wound care.
