Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

Waiting for the first exam to post is downright torturous. :(

Thats How i felt last semester. In gigu you gotta wait like5 days.

Yeah they all told us that you have to wait a crazy amount of time before grades post for gi/gu

:( not happy at all with my test grade

It is not possible for me to get a A on the class anymore

Anyone do the workbook B for the math? Can't seem to find the answer to what IIHH in grains is :/

How's the program going guys??

Yeah I did it. It's 2.5 grains. HH and SS both mean 0.5

Hello if anyone is still on this forum i was an august 2016 hopeful but unfortunate i am an alternate with a 3.0 from your group how many alternates actually got in? and did they attend orientation as well?

How's the program going guys??

pretty well! taking it day by day so i don't get too stressed ;) theory is going well, wish my grade was higher though. guess they were right about C's making nurses. those questions are kicking my butt on test day! clinical was awesome, passed the math with flying colors. overall loving every minute of the program and it is so worth the sweat, anxiety, and excitement :) how about you guys?

agh! So glad to hear! I'm so anxious/nervous.

well, I'm finally pre-admission. Our applicant pool was really tough so I'm so happy I studied my butt off and had a great GPA to get in. Orientation is next week! I can't wait. Other than that, I'm just trying to enjoy the little bit of summer I do get after my micro class ends this week. As far as reading prior to the program, did you find it to help once you started?
