Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

Probably will print everything just in case, just jot sure WHAT to print. Should buy some stock in printing and ink companies while I'm at it.

I know right!! Lol

Wasn't able to print anything from D2L last night, except for the patient history form :/

At least I have my stethoscope, watch, pen light and uniform. No idea what else we are supposed to bring since our clinical professor hasn't touched base yet.

Good! Pharmacology threw me through a loop there for a few minutes, but it jumpstarted the AP info that has been sitting in my brain unused for 2 yrs. I think once I go over that chapter on my own it will make more sense.

Theory was great. Love my professor and she really taught the info well.

How about you? And how did your day go Ashsaint, lifesaver, yunec?

My first day is Thursday in central. I have Math and Pharm the same day :) The LPNs skip the first process.

You are suppose to download them first to your computer and then print them

Use this site if you can't open the files and convert them to pdf:

Zamzar - video converter, audio converter, image converter, eBook converter

So are we just suppose to go over the last several pages in vital signs for lab tomorrow and read infection control?

Yeah thanks I just figured out how to do it! Part of it is I'm not paying 110 for word processor.

I've read ahead. I'm going with whatever the calendar/syllabus says we will cover on that day.

If you go to Microsoft word there's a free student account. That's how I got PowerPoint, word, excel etc.

Oooh really? Is it only the online version? Or could you download it onto your computer?

Go through the online book store for BC. That's where I got mine. For pharm...I printed only the topics being covered for the first 3 weeks and reading that.

It's on the Microsoft website under students. You just need a student email.

Where is room 1008 for Dr. Kraljevich Central campus
