Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

The only thing that's bothering me is how they want us to read ahead and come to class prepared

For North the only class they requested to read ahead for is Process I, and that's the Hygiene and Vitals signs sections that are already open in D2L

Because my d2l hasn't opened and I haven't gotten a syllabus

Question for LPNs. Just making sure I heard this correctly, our clinical is still TBA...meaning it can either be Tuesday or Wednesday not both right? I have to tell my boss ahead of time.

It went well. I know we go to central campus together but I didn't catch your name

Good! Pharmacology threw me through a loop there for a few minutes, but it jumpstarted the AP info that has been sitting in my brain unused for 2 yrs. I think once I go over that chapter on my own it will make more sense.

Theory was great. Love my professor and she really taught the info well.

It went really well. My theory professor seemed pretty nice (hopefully it doesn't change). She presented the info well too. I had math as well and we just went over the basics. It was pretty good as well. We started on infection control in theory what you guys in North campus?
