Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

When I clicked on assessments there were 3 to take. One was just on navigating D2L, one was an orientation, and the other one was the course orientation that we had to get 100% on.

For central

theory 9-12 Monday & Friday

clinical 6:30 am-6:30 pm. TUesday or Wed

Pharm usually starts at 5 pm and there's like Med math review class for like 3 or 2 weeks for process 1. It's a 8 weeks course, so you move to process 2 after 8 weeks.

The D2L page for NUR1210 just opened for me.

So for NUR1210L we will be taking the math exam on the first day?

I thought we would review first and then take the exam in the next class

SLS1501 and CAE0536 courses are only required for the people applying for re-admission right?

Any ideas on what the math test we are supposed to take the first day of clinical will have?

I am not sure if it will be dosage questions or just average math questions

I am really bad at math so I would like to start reviewing

dosage math questions for all classes on the first day of class except process 1. For process 1 you have the take a class before you take the math test.

Anybody here have Vaccarella Process I? I still haven't gotten a syllabus and D2L isn't open.:nailbiting:

I have Vaccarella as well and I haven't been able to access anything either. Does your D2L show assessments?

It doesn't show anything. Can't even access any of my classes

The only thing that's bothering me is how they want us to read ahead and come to class prepared
