Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

For pharmacology we touched on basic pharmacology and patient safety, then moved onto adrenergic and cholinergic drugs.

For theory we had to study hygiene on our own, and started vital signs in class.

what you guys in North campus?

The air conditioning was really low and the class hot because there was a lot of people.

Pharma was fine, but I am not happy about a lot of the tests of both Process 1 and Pharma being on the same day

Yeah I noticed that too. And the nursing lab hours are really limited.

Does anybody have a list of all the stuff in the nursing kit?

We won't need it tomorrow, just the stethoscope and the hand watch right?

The nursing kit is only for process 2

Good! Pharmacology threw me through a loop there for a few minutes, but it jumpstarted the AP info that has been sitting in my brain unused for 2 yrs. I think once I go over that chapter on my own it will make more sense.

Theory was great. Love my professor and she really taught the info well.

How about you? And how did your day go Ashsaint,lifesaver,yunec?

I'm really looking forward to this semester! It's a lot of information but I'm really excited. I really like both fola and kraljevich. I think it's going to be a really great experience

For North campus, Fola said we need to bring papers from D2 to lab tomorrow. What clinical papers exactly are we suppose to bring, all of them?

I was wondering that too. I wasn't entirely sure which papers we were supposed to bring with us.

Probably will print everything just in case, just jot sure WHAT to print. Should buy some stock in printing and ink companies while I'm at it.
