Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

We are using the 8th edition of fundamentals. I have an extra I'm selling if you need one.

How much are you selling it for?

How much are you selling it for?

Selling it for $50

I received the email from the pharmacology professor. It says he uses D2L and I have logged on to try and get the introduction information but I cannot find it. I'm from FAU and we used blackboard so I have no idea where to look to find the information. It does not allow me to click on any course that is listed. If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

I thought it was just my cell phone, but maybe it's the teacher. I saw under discussions she had something up, by I couldn't get to it. Let me know if you do.

Same here. His email says to refer to D2L but the course has not posted yet. I emailed him just to confirm ,however, I took a course on D2L prior and it opens up about 2-3 days before class starts. It said the course will open up this Monday the 16th.

So I chose the Math and Pharmacy class that was on Thursday. I'm in Tampa with my husband, so just to confirm, my class doesn't really start until the 19th right? The 16th is only for those who chose the Monday class? I just want to know when I should be home lol

Correct! I'm picked the same combination.

I wished the professors would just email the syllabus to our BC emails.:sour:

Are we allowed to wear cargo style scrub pants as long as they are the right color?

Do we have to be in nursing uniform (polo or scrubs) for all classes , even the math & pharm class?

For math and pharm the Dean made a comment about uniform not being required because its not a "nursing" course. But I'm personally wearing the polo top.

There is an orientation on D2L for fola's theory class
