Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

For central what time are we suppose to be there Monday? It's not on the email.

Anyone still waiting on financial aid?Am I the only one left :crying2:

I emailed and asked she said 9am

The D2L page for NUR1210 just opened for me.

So for NUR1210L we will be taking the math exam on the first day?

I thought we would review first and then take the exam in the next class

SLS1501 and CAE0536 courses are only required for the people applying for re-admission right?

Yes. The SLD and CAE course are only for the retract students.

Pretty sure they said that we would have a math test before each clinical class.

Not much room to work with. The work load is a decent amount..if you get in, I'd highly suggest sitting down the second you get your syllabi for all your classes and writing down every test, assignment, and reading. Cause there is alot in a small amount of time!

Anybody else having trouble getting a 100% in the Orientation Assessment for NUR1020 on 2DL?

I can only get a 80% and I don't even know which questions I am missing. I already read through everything from the orientation portion too

Which one? The D2L orientation orientation, or the course orientation that we have to do before the 1st exam?

Right now there's only one and it's called orientation assessment in D2L. It's like 10 questions

Isnt the course orientation the one we have to take on the computer lab? I was a bit confused about this one but if you look on the grades section is listed there

When I clicked on assessments there were 3 to take. One was just on navigating D2L, one was an orientation, and the other one was the course orientation that we had to get 100% on.
