Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

Will anyone be working during the program? I am trying to figure out a doable work schedule to fit around the program. Will it only be during the weekday mornings, or will we have class during the weekend as well?

I will be working part time simply because my current employer wants to keep me when I become an RN :) So I plan on working half days and full days whenever it permits. I can't wait to find out if I made it... I'm ready to get this going.

Hello my name is Celisse and I am new to this thread but I am currently enrolled in Mac1105 and hoping to apply for May for the bridge program . Hope I am not too late. My class ends on the 1st of March.

I'll be working through the program. Right now I'm working full time and picked up a part time job that has flexible hours. I'm planning to stay with the part time while in school or until I find something better.

Judging upon last years thread, a few people posted their schedules and from my understanding, it's literally all over the place for the first year because of the math class and pharm.

Hi! I'm also applying for the May 2016 RN program. For people saying their applications are "in review" is that for the LPN-RN program or Generic RN?

I'm going for the LPN to RN and it says in review.

I submitted my app back in Sept for generic RN, mine still says in review..... Patiently waiting to know If I get in.

mine still says pre-program application

I hope I get in being that my math class ends on the 1st of March. But from reading a previous thread they will not be doing acceptance letters for bridge until mid March so hopefully I will be fine.

Lol- I know the feeling, even though I already told my Boss I'm going to quit. I would do part-time, however their idea of part-time is 30hrs..... No can do.

lol Yeah my Boss is planning to keep me as an RN .... But I guess time will tell. They are willing to be flexible and the plus side is I can actually study at work :). I turned in my application in Sept. and I heard the LPNs will find out in March :bag:
