Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

If you don't mind me asking how many points were you awarded? I applied last month.

She told me to check myBC online. My application is still pending. Once they review your application they place all that information in myBC

Hi! Does anyone know how the weigh your prereq GPA and the HESI score?

From what I have read, you are awarded points for GPA and then they look at your hesi score.

From past threads, they seem to look at points for GPA, then look at your hesi score for people with the same gpa.

seems like if you have a low GPA, they would still accept you with a very high HESI.

it is the north campus that i am applying to. I want to go in and do my advisor appointment (they are only taking walk ins right now), so I'll let you know!

When you apply, you are applying to the program NOT a campus. So just because you turn your application in on North, does not mean you are applying to that campus. If you are invited to join the program, you choose your campus at the time of registration. We will go over all of that in pre-admissions.

Hello,

I'm also applying for May.

hi mariela! :D Have you completed your hesi? and has anyone seen any change in their limited status application?

Application statuses won't change until at least Mid-February. That is when we anticipate beginning the review for May 2016.

Welcome Mariela :)

Hi everyone! My application is currently in review also. Wish you all the best of luck, hope we all make it. :) LPNs to Future RNs

Hi! I took the HESI on Sep 23. Unfortunately, school had closed the apps that morning so My application will be considered for May.

Does anyone know what day in May the program begins? Thanks...

you should be able to look on browards web calendar and it will tell you when classes begin,
