Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.
My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.
My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0
I havent received any points yet and I've had everything submitted for quite some time now=(.. Still reading "Den-Transcripts Not evaluated"....I wonder how long it takes to evaluate my transcripts...Anyone else have this problem?? There were some hiccups because FAU never sent my electronic transcripts they had to send a hard copy..

i spoke to nicole, and she checked my application to update it. i believe with my transcripts evaluation i spoke to admissions and they fixed it, but i'll double check
This wait is killing me....I have a 3.7 prereq GPA and Scored all high 80s on my HESI but I'm still freaking out...
I was told the average GPA is 3.2-3.4ish by an advisor. I don't know the HESI average but I'd bet it's like low 80s. You're above the average so don't worry much. I have done about the best someone could realistically do with 4.0/94. I was also told admissions are strictly academic.
I have been reading this chat nonstop and updating my BC status every hour! Lol When did your points show? I turned my application first week of february and it still says application in review it does not even show points. Prereq gpa was 3.8 and hessi 88
Welcome to the waiting game! lol I've been doing the same. I hope that when ppl start getting accepted they would post it to give the rest of us a heads up.
I'm so nervous, it has been exactly two weeks since I turned in my application and it still says no active limited access application to display
Please be patient. We are working on admitting two programs at the same time. Before we admit, everyone's application that was received on or before February 15 will be updated in order to give everyone a fair chance in the acceptance process.
Our goal is to have decisions out before BC goes on Spring Break. (In case you don't know, Spring Break is March 7-13, 2016.)
Hi,
I understand microbiology is needed to graduate, however, is it a requirement to apply like API/II and math? I'm currently taking APII, and I plan to take statistics, and pharm in the summer -- because I would rather take microbiology in the Fall. However, I'm applying for Spring '17. I have a 4.0 GPA. Do I have a good chance of being accepted with API/II, & statistics... or should I just take microbiology in the summer and leave pharm for fall?
