Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.
My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.
My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0
I believe Central does clinicals at Memorial and Broward General. I think they also go to Cleveland Clinic. I'm not too sure about the last one though. I would hold off on making any commitments to Memorial you may not be able to keep. They can be a possible future employer in the end and if you don't see the commitment through they can consider that later on if you apply for an RN job. I'm not sure if they keep those kind of records but I wouldn't risk it.
it's 6 months 4 hrs a week. I think it might make me look better. I'm still thinking about it. I volunteered at a hospital before as a greeter and then emergency department volunteer and I loved it.
I'm just not sure how the semester will go.

4 hours a week? That seems doable. But then again only you know you. I would use that as motivation to keep going in the nursing program. You know actually seeing registered nurses that made it out of school could help a lot.

It makes it easier for us as well if I pop in and clarify while you guys are waiting for the decisions to be sent out.
