Broward College May 2016 RN program

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

thank you for all of the information nicole! nice not to be left in the dark wondering :)

It makes it easier for us as well if I pop in and clarify while you guys are waiting for the decisions to be sent out.

I agree. Big Thanks :)

I emailed because of my application status has said "Den-Transcripts not Evaluated" for awhile now and just sent some info to hopefully clear up anything...Thank you so much for checking in with us, no other school on this forum has been as helpful as the folks at broward college.

So true!!

Nichole you've been such a huge help! Thank you í ½í¸Š Now just still patiently waiting!

I believe Central does clinicals at Memorial and Broward General. I think they also go to Cleveland Clinic. I'm not too sure about the last one though. I would hold off on making any commitments to Memorial you may not be able to keep. They can be a possible future employer in the end and if you don't see the commitment through they can consider that later on if you apply for an RN job. I'm not sure if they keep those kind of records but I wouldn't risk it.

it's 6 months 4 hrs a week. I think it might make me look better. I'm still thinking about it. I volunteered at a hospital before as a greeter and then emergency department volunteer and I loved it.

I'm just not sure how the semester will go.

4 hours a week? That seems doable. But then again only you know you. I would use that as motivation to keep going in the nursing program. You know actually seeing registered nurses that made it out of school could help a lot.

Hello, I'm new to this thread. I have applied Feb. 10 and it still says i have no limited access application. i was wondering was something wrong?

It takes two weeks for them to enter it .. Check at the end of the week and if nothing just email

Okay. Thank you. I was a little worried.

This wait is killing me....I have a 3.7 prereq GPA and Scored all high 80s on my HESI but I'm still freaking out...
