I I'm attending central as well. So excited =) Only thing I don't like is that we don't know which hospital we will be going to as yet

I just want to say congrats to everyone who as been accepted. I just hope that you all can come back and share your nursing journey with future student nurses on your general experience with BC. Once again congrats!

I'm thinking its the hospital groups that are offering the scholarships...if you look on bc page at the scholarships then pull up the groups its pretty much the ones in the central area.

I'm all in :yeah: on-line option - I'm really excited but a little scared "nervous nelly." Commuting from SW Dade, hoping my car holds up for the next 18 months "stay focused, determined and positive." Orientation Nov. 16th - See you there!

I think that Central students go to Plantation General, Westside Regional, Broward General, and Cleveland Clinic Florida. Im not positive about Westside Regional, but Im sure about the other 3. It just depends on what subject your are rotating in.... Cardio is at Cleveland Clinic for sure because I bother the heck out of the students when I see them around.... I ask a million and one questions! :)

Hi Jazzy-thank you for this thread;) I also am proud to say I too am finally accepted and registered at Central-a hop, skip and jump away from my house (to me convenience is important). Though, I do hear bad things about Central-oh well! My schedule is Monday-Theory/math, I am not a math person, and so I left Thursday-pharmacology by itself. Also I have 4 little ones, so I am still trying to operate and drop/pick up the kids as much as I can. I am very excited....and scared..it's thrilling-feel as though were on a downhill rollercoaster from here..I will have to manage my time and emotions well..as well as sleep. P.S. I hate micro!

Thank you =)

So, Im extremely happy right now..... I was so upset at the pre admissions meeting when they were advising those of us that have not taken Micro to defer our seats. I knew it was going to be a challenge, but I can't defer my seat. Well come to find out.... I actually already took Micro at FSU. I didn't realize it because they call it Prokaryotic Biology instead. Im going to the campus to see if they will accept my credits on Thursday. I also still need to get fingerprinting, drug screening and my background check done. But at least this is one less thing for me to worry about!! :yeah:

This is not my first issue with financial aid and here it is on my status I'm flagged that I needed my hs transcript and that I failed the fcat so I need to take a cpt test...now I never went to hs in Florida but not only that, I have been a student since 2008...I call them and they say they will add a note..it is a system issue and not to worry...I would hate to have gone this far and then have a mistake again by financial aid cause a problem..

Wow...still a little overwhelmed after yesterdays orientation...but I am pumped and can't wait for 1/5/2012.
