I saw nursemates for $39 at Sears...it was the all white, no laces and a small wedge...I did an online search becuz the magazine I had showed them for 74.95..I haven't actually physically gone to a store..

Also once we become an RN can we specialize or do we need are BSN for that?

I think you can specialize as a RN....BSN will give u an upper hand...as any bachelors degree will.

I have a loan with Sallie Mae and i will be doing an inschool deferment while im in school however after this semester every other semester is 5 credits which is 1 credit below half time... does anybody else know if this will be ok with sallie mae since this is the nursing program?

has anyone turned in their folders (physical/cert. etc) yet at central? What folders are you using? What about your 'portfolios?' P.S. Micro is kicking my butt!

i thought the paper said we could just paperclip the forms and turn it in and that we need to keep a folder for the student portfolio.. i guess i will bring a folder just in case.

Has anyone bought uniforms yet? We probably should before january. I am soooo stressed! Between these holidays, and the semester's finals all next week..plus notarizing and photocopying for nursing admissions....I'm gonna end up shaving my head bald already...and I haven't even started the nursing semester!

I turned my documents in today. They do not need a folder. Just the forms in order... Have you been to the bookstore yet? I dont understand the packages they have for the perry & Potter Fundamentals. I saw one book with the e book and then the other package said with cd educational package and it included the companion, and other thing... but is there a package where its the book, ebook and everything else we need?

I handed my papers yesterday as well-it was a whole day ordeal! I made like 5 trips to Kinko's because I kept forgetting something....anyway, glad that is over with!

As far a books and uniforms go-I have no financial aid at this point..so I may have to pay out of pocket...and I am wondering since I have the exact same classes as my gf...is it necessary to buy books each or could we share it her and I?

This is not my first issue with financial aid and here it is on my status I'm flagged that I needed my hs transcript and that I failed the fcat so I need to take a cpt test...now I never went to hs in Florida but not only that, I have been a student since 2008...I call them and they say they will add a note..it is a system issue and not to worry...I would hate to have gone this far and then have a mistake again by financial aid cause a problem..

I hear the fcat error is a system problem..you may not have to worry too much about it.

I must be crazy...i have a couple of recertifications to do, which I am doing thru CEUfast...I remember asking if I could do them on line at orientation and I believe she said yes... since they were recertification...I called the nursing dept and left a msg to make sure, but no call back as well..If anyone know if I remembered correctly let me know..Please and thank you.
