Broward College August 2012

Published

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

I found different classes in the red cross webpage. Just google it. The classes are 110 though. I am going to pick one of those because I asked an advisor, and it is accepted. I do not want to take something that they might reject.

As long as it's being backed by the american Heart Association and it's BLS for health care professionals its the right one.

I was accepted at Broward for Fall. Will be doing my CPR and first-aid this friday at the school.

i just need the cpr, the rest of my ceu were done in broward. would i still be able to go there and have all my hours?? i see that its only from 9 to 1.

Have any completed all their ceu's on ceufast.com. Except for bls. I already completed mine but i have 5hrs for osha/hep/tb. However I realize that the BC website offers 6hrs for those, just wanted to know if anyone already completed theirs on ceufast without any issues?

I did the Hiv Medical Errors and domestic violence on ceufast TB/OSHA/Hep i will be taken at broward because they require 6 contact hours and ceufast only provides 5

At my brothers graduation in Va. I'm so excited about my future. One day it will be my graduation from nursing school. August 24,2012 starts my journey and the journey for us all. Work hard, keep focus and don't give up. We can achieve or goals!

when is all the certificates usually do by? My TB/OSHA/Hep course is at the end of july

I spoke to the nursing office at north campus, she said that we will be given instructions for the CEU completion at the information session. She suggested not doing them yet unless you will be doing them at broward because some campuses don't accept the certificates from any other source. Hope this helps!
