Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time
don't worry if you have heard that south is hard, or central is hard--- or whatever!
when you start the program, you focus on yourself, and your study habits!
when i started, i knew in my heart i did not want to blow it away, so i studied many hours-- i was with a baby on the way, but i was determined that i would complete the program-- with all the hours studying, i made it through!! and you all will too!! as long as you give it your best!!
Tracie, there are still a ton of people who didn't get their emails, yet. We've tried to figure out a method to their madness, but it doesn't seem like there's any logical explanation.....its not in order of points, or in alphabetical order. So eventually, I think we'll get our email, lol. I tried calling, too, but all I ever get is a voicemail as well.
Last week I spoke to admissions and they said they were having "technical difficulties" with the emails. I received mine later that day (thursday). I would persistently call tomorrow if u dont receive it cause in the email it says to reply by June 23rd if u are attending the pre-admt session.
Ok...so I went into Health Science Admissions dept. this morning to let them know that I did not yet receive my email, and that everyone says you have to reply to the email by today, and that I can't do that since I didn't get my email.
She told me that apparently, like Dizzyray said, they are having issues emailing people and that for some reason some people are getting the emails and some are not. She also said they've emailed them like 4 times and its still not going through, and that there's no way to tell who has received them and who has not. She took down my student number and said she'd email it to me and if I still didn't get it, to email them back and let them know. I STILL didn't get it, lol.
Anyway, if you still have not received your email, I would suggest just emailing health science dept and let them know.

My orientation was a about 2 hours (i think), but afterwards, the North campus dean met with the North campus students to welcome us and answer questions. Personally, I wouldn't schedule something right afterwards in case you want to stick around and mingle/network, ask questions, etc.
