Broward College applicants for Fall 2009

Last week I spoke to admissions and they said they were having "technical difficulties" with the emails. I received mine later that day (thursday). I would persistently call tomorrow if u dont receive it cause in the email it says to reply by June 23rd if u are attending the pre-admt session.

So I took your advice and called Twana today. I told her I hadn't received any emails and she sounded like she was unware that I hadn't received it. She kept saying you should have received it. So she said she'd send me another one, but my orientation is on July 9th at 9am. I supposed at central, I didn't get that far in the convo since she said I would be getting the email with all the info. If you haven't received it I would call TODAY since I hear the deadline to reply is today. I still haven't received the email though. I'll wait until about 3pm before I call her again.

Ok...so I went into Health Science Admissions dept. this morning to let them know that I did not yet receive my email, and that everyone says you have to reply to the email by today, and that I can't do that since I didn't get my email.
She told me that apparently, like Dizzyray said, they are having issues emailing people and that for some reason some people are getting the emails and some are not. She also said they've emailed them like 4 times and its still not going through, and that there's no way to tell who has received them and who has not. She took down my student number and said she'd email it to me and if I still didn't get it, to email them back and let them know. I STILL didn't get it, lol.
Anyway, if you still have not received your email, I would suggest just emailing health science dept and let them know.

When you went this morning to ask. Did they tell you what date and time you were supposed to go for the orientation?

No, she just took my student number and said she'd email me mine all by itself, instead of sending it with a group of emails.

Seriously, if I don't get an email. I think i will just show up with proofs of all the email i sent them on july 9th at 9 am. lol

Well, I'm at school twice a week for classes, so if I don't get my email by next week, I'll just go in again and ask them to just tell me when I need to go.

I'm still waiting for mine. Hopefully, They make the exception that i didn't get my email and won't defer my seat. I'm going to central early in the morning to talk to the healthcare admission dept, hopefully they send the email earlier and then email them and waiting for them to get to you. lol

The girl I spoke to today made it seem like responding to the email to say if you were coming or not wasn't a big deal. But like you are doing, I would check with them anyway.
