Broward College applicants for Fall 2009

Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time :yeah:

The girl I spoke to today made it seem like responding to the email to say if you were coming or not wasn't a big deal. But like you are doing, I would check with them anyway.

yeah i'm going to central tomorrow. Hopefully they can just send it and i can check my email right there. lol

FINALLY just got my email.

Its in the Criminal Justice Bldg, Bldg 22, Rm 155

Hey Sunraygurl,

Is your orientation at Central? I called Twana again and she said she got my emails (I wasn't taking any chances I emailed her and told her I would be there email or not!) and she said she was working out some problems and that she would extend my deadline to reply until Thursday.

Yeah, as far as I know, all the orientations are always at Central, and from what I've heard, this time they're either July 9th at 9am or at 2pm.

Does anyone know for sure if alternates are supposed to go to orientation, too? I always thought they did, but my friend hasn't even received an email telling her she's an alternate (but she knows by checking her status online). Maybe she should call school, too??

If the email was lost when sent to students that got accepted, i think it is possible that alternative probably didn't get it either. lol

Hey sunraygurl and futurenurse...I called twana this morning and she said I should have my email within the hour. I am hoping that is the case cuz this is crazy.

I haven't fully decided which campus I am going to. I live like 10 mins from South but I am nervous abt all the horror stories I have heard. I could go to North but not sure if I would really enjoy that ride every morning. But I have to make a decision soon. Which campus r u all going to??

I'm thinking about going to Central. Right now I about 1/2 way between North and Central, but I plan on purchasing a house this year closer to South so who knows.

I think I'm going to north. I think you have the horror stories every where. I live by north, so most likely I will go there. The only reason I might pick central is for the hospitals since its definitely more of a drive there than north. But I'm pretty certain north is where I'll be.

OKAY I GOT THE EMAIL!! You know what sucks is I have my Broward.edu email forward to my gmail account and I haD the email sitting there in my BC inbox all along since YESTERDAY and it still hasn't forwarded to my gmail account!

Nursingstudent-

It talks about how many people applied, how many they accepted and that there was about 30 alternates. Its says where to go and when. I suggest you call Twana on Monday (campus is closed tomorrow and friday) and find out if you should have received an email or not. I believe the alternates should have received one as well.
