Broward College applicants for Fall 2009

Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time :yeah:

Good luck!! I'll be in your boat next May...Unless I decide to go with PBCC. Is BC the only program you're applying to? If so, any particular reason? Like is it a pros vs. cons kind of thing? If you can't tell, I'm kind of stuck trying to decide where to go. Any input you can give me would be really appreciated!

I did my all my pre-req's at BC and received my A.A. degree from BC but I was denied 2 times by BC nursing program that I am taking some science classes to improve grades that have C's and the GPA will get higher, b/c BC accepts what I am doing). I'm also applying to UCF, FAMU, and FIU(next fall, I can apply there becaus eI never failed a science course b/c if a person fails one science class and retakes it and get an A they still cannot apply but Im qualified)

Im applying to BC and everyone else because I want options BC and FIU

(but FIU is on the bottom of my list b/c they only enroll freshman in the fall and b/c I did not complete there 3 pre-req classes I have to wait until next fall) are near by where I can live at home and commute back and forth and its less money I need to pay back. UCF, FAMU Im applying to is just for options

you should be congratulated on your tenacity. i am in the same boat as you are, basically. please consider the (grape vine) statistics. there are 250 places or so in each rn program (each go 'round). there are over 850 applicants, possibly. they started accepting applications (for the class that begins aug'09) 1 march. 15 may is deadline. i don't know if it's first come first served. that's too simplistic, i know, but just for arguement's sake... maybe it would improve the chances of being accepted if you submit your application within the first day(s) & if your gpa is solid. just a thought. :twocents:

Well because I took A&P again and received an A, I have to wait until my transcripts to come in to apply which I paid for yesterday so by the end of this week or next week I will apply. THAT IS THE ONLY THING STOPPING ME

Hello! I am applying for fall 09 as well! I haven't turned in my application yet and the deadline is next friday too! But I am waiting for BCC to evaluate my Chemistry class so I HOPE they can get that done this week. I have an A in anatomy I and II, B in Chem, B in Enc1101... is that good enough? Do they go by program GPA?

I have the same exact pre-req grades you have. Which campus do you plan on attending if accepted?? I live in miramar but I keep hearing that North is the best. I just don't know if I can travel that far everyday.

I just put in my application to central campus and they told me to check my e-mail on Friday. I'm hoping and praying I get in. I heard that north campus is better.

I know waiting for them to respond is so crazy. I keep checking the limited access application like every minute
