Did anyone already turn in there applications for Fall 2009 @ B.C.? because I am turning mine in next week before the deadline and now I have to wait AGAIN and keep continually looking at my e-mail and the myBC account for the Limited Access Program everyday hopefully I get in THIS TIME being my 3rd time
vonneg...did you do those 6 hours through that website?? if you did...did they accept it when you turned it in?? btw thanks for the info...it helps out sooo much!!
i did all of my classes on this website except for hiv/aids (did is online through bc) and bls. i went to center for career training in lauderhill for the bls. since i deferred my seat, i can't turn in my packet/caes until the upcoming session, but i don't think there will be any problems since they are the ones who instructed me to take them on this website. they had to give us other options to take the caes because we were notified of our admission about 3 weeks before the may class started. i assume we were all alternates or people who they had on their one "internal wait list" and were offered seats as peopel deferred/declined.

Well I have time to do the courses so I guess I can ask the day of my orientation if its acceptable, I mean they told you you can so I don;t see why they would tell me other wise but I would rather double check before I do it. Thanks!!!!
with a 3.0 she will have 6 pts. if she applied for aug, unless there are a lot of people deferring or declining, i'm not sure she will get in. there are people with 8, 9, and 10 pts on the alternate list, so its hard to say at this point what will happen. i know with the may class 2.9's got in. may is less competitive.
is may les competitive because people dont want to take the first session in 6 weeks????
is that what you did when you got in the program??? do you know for sure they accept those ceritficates from that website??? i just don;t wanna do it and then they tell me that its not acceptable. please let me know!! oh and also can you do the bls one there too??oh and about registering...do you have to wait until you go to the orientation to then register for the nursing classes???
thanks a bunch!!!
i used ceufast.com to renew a ceu. i didn't have any trouble with bc accepting it.
you have to check your registration date...you can't register until then, like mine is on monday, june 22 at 8:00 am. i tried signing up for the certification classes and i couldn't cause of that. i think you have until right before the program starts to have the certifications done and then you have to turn them in to the campus ur going to be attenting. thasts what it says in the nursing program page.
when i started, you were given a registration date from the nursing program. you were not cleared to register until you attended orientation. it didn't have anything to do with you registration date from the college.
is may les competitive because people dont want to take the first session in 6 weeks????
this is what i believe. i think that is why students who apply during the summer and defer until fall.
Hello, does anyone know about scholarships available given from hospitals for students in the nursing program? I was accepted to the broward college fall 2009 nursing program. Does anyone know about any good nursing teachers at broward college (south campus). Also, when are these CAE classes due? I am still missing 2.

you can apply for a scholarship in gi/gu (second semester). they interview after the gi/gu grades are posted. in this economy, i would strongly recommend trying for the scholarship. i'm sure they'll be limited though.

Smiley, now I know why we've been asking this kind of questions because we're from MDC lol. I am freaking out too and CONFUSED! I am going to South campus so I'll see you then and some future RN's here ^_^.I already registered for the CAE's but still have to go to central campus to clarify them.
I'm still missing BLS/CPR, I have to wait until Fall term to register for the August 11 or 15 class. I think, I have time for the program starts, right???(the irony of waiting, again!)
Thanks for all the information..Take care everyone
(my english is really bad, sorry)

LOL, Thanks!!! My mom just keeps telling me to not wait until the last minute to register for classes and I keep telling her I can't because I dont even know what I need to sign up for...LOL. So she got me all anxious and worried for nothing because I was right the whole time and you just confirmed it for me.
