  1. thank you for the information!! even though i'm completely discouraged i will get back to studying asap!! sucks having to pay $319...i so regret not changing my exam date!!! i'll wait for the results but i am convinced i failed! if you don't mind me asking what did you use to study the first time and how long did you study for before taking the exam?? good luck to you...you'll pass this time!!
  2. I took the N-CLEX today and I had all 265 questions...it was insane...I kept asking myself "When is this gonna end?!?!?" I am pretty sure I also failed...I did the Pearson Vue trick and it let me go all the way to the payment page...not a good sign. :crying2: I studied from Saunders I did ever single section in the CD 200 questions a day and honestly when I was taking the exam I felt unprepared. My friend had given me exams from Kaplan and I regret not looking over those. I almost changed my test date and now I wish I would have done so. Does anyone know the re-take process for Florida? is it true you have to pay a $119 fee to re-take and the Pearson $200 fee? I would hate to pay $319!! Also I see HURST Review was mentioned...do you mean the videos? I got those as well but didn't have time to watch them. PLEASE HELP IN GIVING STUDY ADVICE...Thank you!!
  3. Navy....so you found all the information in the Jarvis book?? its not due till tuesday so Im gonna have to work on it tomorrow...Well good luck tomorrow everyone!!!
  4. The head to toe assessment sheet is an attachment on the email she sent....check the top of the email there should be a link to download the assessment sheet...if you figure out how to fill it out please let me know, i'm stressing!! lol.
  5. Navy...ur going to South right? Do you know if we need the book on the first day of class? The only professor that has emailed students is the Process I professor giving us reading assignments and homework!! Have you gotten that email?? Do you understand what we need to do with that assessment worksheet??? I don't understand how to do it and I read Chapter 6 from the Clinical book and I still dont get it.
  6. does anyone know the isbn for the pharmacology study guide...pharmacological aspects of nursing care study guide, 5th ed.???? everytime i try to google it , it gives me something else...
  7. Did anyone else receive the email form South Campus for the first day of clinicals??? There are a couple of things you need to take for lab and I am a bit confused... "To Bring: The required items that you have already learned about for lab, do bring your Perry and Potter skills book, Your Jarvis Physical Assessment book, your stethoscope, pen light, watch with second hand, etc.. The packets Ms. Quinn instructed you to bring." What are the required items we have already learned for lab??? I am not aware of that. When she says the jarvis book, Im guessing its the pocket companion and not the actual book because there is a difference there and n the booklist they as for the pocket companion. What is a pen light??? is that the pen looking flashlight??? What packets??? Omg I feel soo lost....
  8. Does anyone know if after Process I and II end, do we still use the fundamentals of nursing and skills books?? I found some sites that rent the book out to you for like $50 but I dont know if its worth it or just to buy the book and keep for anything in thr future.
  9. Yea I have the results from the titers too, but the PPD test is a skin test so there are no lab results so i was just wondering because it says attach results.
  10. I had a quyestion on the medical form...for the PPD Test it asks to attach results...what results??? When I was given the shot I came back to the doctor's office after 72 hours and me results were negative so thats what she wrote on the form...what are you suppose to attach?? Does anyone know??
  11. I didnt know we had to buy all white shoes...can they be any brand?? Also were are you guys buying your stethoscope?? at the campus bookstore?? or at a medical store??? Does anyone know which one we have to get??? I think the first day of clinicals at South you need to have it already... At South we dont have an orientation like North and Central our orientation is the first day of clinicals I believe so I just want to make sure I have the necessary things.
  12. Thank you for all your help!!! :D:D
  13. Does anyone know if the fundamentals books is the same in the US edition and the international edition....it is soo much cheaper like $50 cheaper for the international version. Also what is the exact title of the skills book???
  14. Oh I forgot to ask did you use any books for the Math Class???
  15. WOW that is alot!!!! Thank you sooo much, Im gonna print this out so that I can go and use as a guide when I purchase them, lol. Omg I can already Imagine how pricey this is going to be!! If you know of anyone that is selling their books let me know!! :wink2:
